The recent issue in BFIC is ‘communication’. BFIC runs around 40 domestic and international programs every year. What matters even more than running the programs is promoting that BFIC has run these beneficial and helpful programs to Busan citizens, foreign residents and related organizations. 

 부산국제교류재단의 최근 내부 화두는 ‘소통’이다. 재단은 한 해 40여 개의 국내˙외 프로그램들을 진행하고 있다. 다양한 프로그램들을 운영하는 것만큼 중요한 것이 재단에서 이렇게나 유익한 프로그램들을 운영하고 있다는 것을 부산 시민들과 부산 거주 외국인들, 유관기관들에 알리는 것이다.

 This is why Channel BFIC, a platform to communicate with the citizen, has been launched. Channel BFIC is the official BFIC YouTube channel that provides interview-type videos of Busan citizens and foreign residents about major policies in the city in an effective and interesting way.

 There are two videos uploaded to Channel BFIC so far. They talk about 1) building a new airport in Busan and 2) ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit in Busan. The first video asked a question to foreign residents from four different countries, Canada, UK, Philippines, and China “Expanding Gimhae Airport vs. Building a new airport” and listened to their honest feedback. The second video shows interest in ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit and messages from local and international university students in Busan.

 The official BFIC YouTube allows from an expansion of a one-direction channel into a two-way communication channel to promote BFIC news. BFIC is fully ready to bring more friendly and informative content to citizens and foreign residents in Busan. 

 재단에서는 또 하나의 시민 소통 플랫폼인 <채널 BFIC>를 오픈했다. 채널 BFIC는 재단 공식 유튜브에 신설된 채널로, 부산시의 주요 정책에 대한 부산 시민들과 부산 거주 외국인들의 생각을 인터뷰 형태로 담아낸 영상 시리즈이다. 인터뷰를 통해 시민들과 부산 거주 외국인들의 시 정책에 대한 다양하고 솔직한 의견을 수렴할 수 있고, 영상을 보는 이들에게는 정책을 보다 효과적이고 재미있게 전달한다.

 채널 BFIC에는 현재까지 총 두 편의 영상이 업로드 되었다. 1) 동남권 신공항 부산 건설과 2) 한˙아세안 특별정상회담 부산 개최를 주제로 선정하여 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 첫 번째 영상은 캐나다, 영국, 필리핀, 중국에서 온 4명의 부산 거주 외국인들에게 “김해공항 확장 VS 동남권 신공항”에 대한 의견을 물어보는 영상으로, 외국인들의 솔직한 피드백을 들어볼 수 있다. 두 번째 영상은 부산 지역 대학생, 유학생들을 대상으로 한˙아세안 특별정상회담에 대한 관심도와 응원메시지를 담고 있다.

 채널 BFIC를 통해 재단 공식 유튜브가 재단 소식을 알리는 한방향 채널에서 콘텐츠를 만들어내는 쌍방향 소통 채널로 탈바꿈하였다. 앞으로도 채널 BFIC의 재미있는 콘텐츠들을 통해 재단이 부산 시민들과 거주 외국인들에게 친근한 이미지로 다가갈 수 있도록 만들어나갈 예정이다.
