There is no question that Busan is a fantastic city with lots of things to see and do. From the majestic mountains to the beautiful beaches and everything in between, Busan has a variety of places to visit and ways to spend the day from early morning to late at night. But seeing everything that Busan has to offer can become expensive very quickly. Other big cities have passes for visitors to use public transportation as well as to see cultural sites and starting this year Busan now has that option.

Visit Busan Pass is a “free pass” that allows visitors to access over 30 different museums, attractions, and ways to be entertained around Busan, showing off the city’s diverse range of activities. The pass was officailly launched on February 1, 2023. The Visit Busan Pass can also be used as a transportation card, allowing visitors to easily deposit transportation fees onto the card and use it at any subway to get around the city.
비짓부산패스(Visit Busan Pass)는 관광객들이 30군데 이상의 박물관, 관광지, 즐길거리를 접할 수 있는 “자유이용권”으로, 부산이 자랑하는 다양한 액티비티를 즐길 수 있다. 비짓부산패스는 2023년 2월 1일부터 개시되었다. 해당 패스는 관광객들이 교통요금을 선불로 충전한 뒤 부산 내 도시철도를 언제든 탈 수 있는 교통카드로 사용할 수도 있다.
There are two types of Visit Busan Pass that can be used. The first, a physical card, can be picked up at any of 17 locations around the city and makes for a lovely souvenir. The second is a mobile app that allows you instant access to places without having to visit a pick-up location. Both types come in 24 or 48 hour versions which allow visitors to use the pass for that amount of time after visiting their first attraction.
사용할 수 있는 비짓부산패스는 두 가지가 있다. 하나 는 실물 카드로, 부산 내 17군데 장소 중 어디에서나 수령 가능하며 추후 훌륭한 기념품이 될 수 있다. 두 번째 는 휴대폰 앱으로 다운받는 카드로, 실제로 장소에 가서 수령하지 않고도 즉시 입장권으로 이용할 수 있다. 두 카드 모두 첫 번째 장소에서 이용한 후부터 24시간 또는 48시간 동안 유효하게 이용할 수 있다.
In addition to free access to places, the Visit Busan Passalso gives discounts to more than 70 places around the city. Discounts depend on the location but include free drinks, up to 20% off purchases in some locations, and free products with purchase.
비짓부산패스는 무료 입장권 이외에도 도시 내 70개 이상 장소에서 할인을 받을 수 있다. 할인율은 위치에 따라 다르지만 무료 음료수 및 특정 장소에서는 20% 이상의 할인을 받을 수 있고, 구매 시 무료 사은품을 얻을 수 있다.
Getting around the city is simple with the Visit Busan Pass. The Busan City Tour Bus is included with the pass and will take you to many tourist spots around the city. With four lines to choose from, seeing the city is easy. You can also use the pass as a transportation card. Simply put some money on the card and you’re ready to go around the city. Planning on getting on and off the subway a lot? HUmetro Busan also offers daily passes that can be used without limit on any metro (excluding the Donghae line) around the city.
비짓부산패스로 부산을 구경하는 방법은 매우 간단하다. 부산시티투어버스 이용권도 포함되어 있어 부산 시내 곳곳의 수많은 관광지를 둘러볼 수 있다. 4개 노선중 하나를 선택해 편하게 부산을 둘러보면 된다. 비짓부산패스를 교통카드로 이용할 수도 있다. 카드에 선불충전을 해 두면 부산을 여행할 준비가 완료된 셈이다. 지하철을 자주 타고 내릴 예정이라면, 휴메트로 부산에서 제한 없이 부산 내 모든 노선(동해남부선 제외)을 하루 동안 이용할 수 있는 일일 이용권도 판매하고 있다.
How to purchase
구매 방법
Looking to buy the Visit Busan Pass? There are several options to buy the pass. You can purchase one online at www.visitbusanpass.com. You can purchase the pass and you’ll receive a voucher that can be used to pick up the pass at your designated location. You’ll need to bring a passport or other ID to get it. Alternatively, you can choose to use the mobile app. If you’re short on time and looking to skip the online purchase, that’s no problem either. Visit the Visit Busan Pass retailer at the Gimhae International Airport Tourist Information center in either the international or domestic terminals, at the Busan Station Visit Busan Pass counter, or the Busan Business Hotel. Current prices for the Visit Busan Pass are 49,000 won for the 24 hour pass and 69,000 won for the 48 hour pass.

The pass itself can be kept for 1 year after the date of purchase before using. The transportation aspect of the card is valid for as long as you have the card.
패스는 이용하기 전까지는 구매 후 1년 동안 유효하다. 교통카드로 이용할 때는 카드를 가지고 있는한 계속해서 이용할 수 있다.
Currently, Visit Busan Pass is limited to foreign guests. Korean citizens are prohibited from purchasing the pass and may be denied entry to places if using the pass. This may change in the future so keep an eye out to see if it does.
현재 비짓부산패스는 외국인만 이용할 수 있다. 한국인은 패스를 구매할 수 없고, 패스를 이용해 입장하는 것도 불가능하다. 추후 바뀔 수도 있으니 계속해서 지켜보도록 하자.
How to use

Once you have purchased your pass, you are ready to go. Your 24 or 48 hours will begin when you enter your first attraction. So, if you enter your first attraction on July 1 with a 24-hour pass, you’ll be able to enjoy its benefits until 8:59 on July 2.
비짓부산패스를 구매했다면 이제 여행을 떠날 때다. 패스는 처음으로 입장권을 이용한 순간부터 24시간 또는 48시간 동안 유효하다. 만약 7월 1일에 24시 간 이용권으로 첫 관광지에 입장했다면, 해당 패스는 7월 2일 8시 59분까지 유효하다는 의미이다.
To use it, simply go to the attraction’s ticket office and show the Visit Busan Pass. If you’re at a restaurant, show to pass to your server before ordering to get any discount they offer. If you’re unsure of how long you have left on the pass, that’s simple to check too. Simply pull up the Visit Busan Pass App and scan the QR code to register your Card Pass then check the expiration date on the ‘My Page’ section of the application.

What to do after
이용이 끝난 뒤
Once you are finished with your Visit Busan Pass, the card is yours to keep. The card can be used anywhere LOCA Mobility can be used, on intra-city buses, subways, and taxis all over Korea. If you are leaving Korea and want a refund on any transportation money you charged, visit the ‘LOCA Mobility’ website.

Starting at Songdo beach, this course hits on attractions nearby Jung-gu and ends with a view of the night sea in Haeundae in the evening. Start your day at 10am with a trip on the Songdo Busan Air Cruise from the Songdo Bay Station. This 86-meter-tall cable car takes you 1.62 kilometer over the sea from Songrim park to Amnam park. You can see the Songdo Coastal Road and the Namhangdaegyo bridge. A roundtrip using the pass is free (save 15,000 won).

After your return trip on the Busan Air Cruise, take bus 30 to the Gukje Market and enjoy some lunch at the famous BIFF Square.
