부산대학생 일본인턴십 참가

 Many talented students in Busan have had a chance to participate in internships abroad through the BFIC. In addition, in July this year, as well, more than 10 students are supposed to go to Shimonoseki and Nagasaki in Japan in order to have an on-site experience, receive business training, and visit the main local businesses and cultural sites.

 부산국제교류재단은 부산시의 우수한 인재들을 해외인턴십에 참여시켜 왔다. 올해도 7월 초에 일본의 시모노세키시와 나가사키현에 10명이 넘는 인원을 파견하여 참가자들은 현장실습, 주요기관 방문, 비즈니스 매너 교육, 문화 탐방 등을 할 예정이다.

부산해외봉사단 10기: 미얀마 양곤 & 몽골 울란 바토르

 One of the main international volunteer groups in Busan, the Busan Global Friends, has been run by the Busan Metropolitan City and Busan Foundation for International Cooperation (BFIC) since 2009. The 10th Busan Global Friends’ volunteers will volunteer in 2 cities this year: Yangon, Myanmar and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. They will be teaching science, arts, music, sports, health care and other subjects to pre-school and elementary school students, paint murals and participate in cultural exchange programs. 

 This will help improve the quality of life of the local people and the medical conditions they face. It will not only enhance the relationship between the cities and Busan, but also let the local people know more about Busan.

 부산해외봉사단(Busan Global Friends)은 2009년부터 부산시와 부산국제교류재단이 자매도시에 파견해온 부산의 대표적인

해외봉사단으로 어느덧 10년차를 맞이하였다. 올해는 7월에 부산시 자매도시인 미얀마 양곤과 우호협력도시인 몽골 울란바토르 2개 도시에 부산해외봉사단이 파견된다. 부산해외봉사단 10기는 양곤과 울란바토르의 어린이들과 초등학생들을 대상으로 과학, 미술, 음악, 체육, 보건 등의 교육봉사와 벽화작업 등의 노력봉사, 문화교류 활동을 펼치게 된다. 이번 부산해외봉사단 파견은 자매도시 주민들의 생활과 의료 환경을 개선하고, 자매도시에 부산을 홍보하는 역할과 함께 양 도시간 교류협력을 강화하는데 좋은 기회가 될 것이다.

Eurasia Expedition from Busan

유라시아 청년대장정

 After the inter-Korean Summit on April 27, 2018, Trans-Eurasia railway travel started to attract more attention internationally. It also became an item on the bucket list of many people. The journey of the Eurasia Expedition from Busan will be for 22 days from July 11 to August 1. 101 people applied for the 38 seats this year, making it more competitive than last year. The journey begins in Busan, South Korea and finishes in St. Petersburg, Russia, making it about 11,000km in total. This includes 4 countries and 10 cities: Busan (Korea) → Vladivostok (Russia) → Hunchun/Mt. Baekdu & Beijing & Urumqi (China) → Khorgos & Almaty & Astana (Kazakhstan) → Moscow & St. Petersburg (Russia).

 Kajajstan, where most of the traffic and logistics in Central Asia meet, was specially added to the route this year. The expedition will visit Mt. Baekdu, Khorgos domestic port in Kazahstan, Sakhalin Korean town in Almaty and the special economic zone in Astana. During the visit to the last destination of the journey, St. Petersberg, there will be a Busan Day event commemorating the 10 year anniversary of Busan and St. Petersburg becoming a sister cites.

 We hope the participants of the expedition will find it a good chance to see more of the world and use it as an opportunity to plan for their future.

 ‘유라시아 횡단열차’가 화두로 떠올랐다. 많은 이들의 버킷리스트가 되기도 하였다. 4.27 남북정상회담이후의 일이다. 오는 7월 11일부터 8월 1일까지 21박 22일동안 부산 청년들이 유라시아 횡단열차에 오른다. ‘유라시아 청년대장정’에는 38명 모집에 총 101명이 지원하여 예년보다 훨씬 치열한 경쟁을 보였다. “희망의 길! 하나의 길! 통일의 길!”을 테마로 한 이번 ‘유라시아 청년대장정’은 21박 22일의 한국의 부산에서 러시아의 상트페테르부르크까지 장장 1만 1천여 km에 이른다. 이번 청년대장정은 총 4개국 9개 도시를 방문하는데, 한국(부산) → 러시아(블라디보스토크) → 중국(훈춘/백두산, 우루무치) → 카자흐스탄(호르고스, 알마티, 아스타나) → 러시아(모스크바, 상트페테르부르크)로 이어진다. 특히 올해는 중앙아시아 교통물류의 요충지인 카자흐스탄이 새로운 방문 루트로 추가된 점이 특징이다. 원정대는 러시아 블라디보스토크에서 관광 및 의료관광 설명회를 개최하고 북한과 중국, 러시아 접경지인 방천전망대를 탐방한다. 민족의 성지 백두산을 거쳐 카자흐스탄 호르고스의 내륙항 물류기지를 찾아가보고, 알마티의 고려인 마을, 아스타나의 경제특구 등을 시찰한다. 마지막 방문지인 러시아 상트페테르부르크에서는 자매도시 결연 10주년을 기념해 ‘부산 데이’를 연다. 부산의 청년들에게 신북방시대의 무대가 될 유라시아 주요 도시를 직접 발로 뛰며 미래를 구상할 좋은 기회가 되기를 기대한다.

The 6th Korea-China-Japan Children’s Friendship Painting Exhibition

제6회 한중일 아동 우호 그림전 – 상하이 전시

 The Korea-China-Japan Children’s Friendship Painting Exhibition has held in Busan (Korea), Shanghai (China) and Fukuoka (Japan), featuring primary and elementary school students. About 300 pieces of paintings under the theme 'Our Future' is being exhibited. It was held in the Busan Citizen’s Hall from May 15 to 30. The next exhibition will be in Shanghai, China.  한국(부산) – 중국(상하이) – 일본(후쿠오카) 3개 도시를 배경 으로 개최되는 한중일 아동 우호 그림전은 3개 도시의 유치원생, 초등학생 어린이들을 대상으로 개최되는 미술 전시이다. 이번 제6회 한중일 아동 우호 그림전은 ‘우리의 미래’를 주제로 300여 점의 그림이 출품되었다. 부산에서는 지난 5월 15일부터 30일까지 부산시민회관에서 개최되었으며, 상하이 순회 전시를 개최할 예정이다. 처음으로 온라인 전시도 연중 오픈되어 있으니 전시장을 방문하지 못한다면, 온라인상에서 전시를 만나보자. (painting.bfic.kr)

Global Citizen Education
세계시민교육

 The BFIC not only plays a role in connecting the city of Busan and other countries, but also puts a lot of effort into helping locals develop a proper attitude to living in a more globalized society. Global Citizen Education is a program where a Korean expert in international studies or a foreign resident in Busan introduces different cultures and languages of other countries and talks about global issues. Specially for this year, the lecture can take place on request at any school and for any groups with less than 30 members. To apply for a private lecture about your preferred subject, you can visit the BFIC’s official website.

 부산국제교류재단은 해외와 부산을 이어주는 역할도 하지만, 글로벌 도시 부산으로서 시민들의 글로벌 마인드 함양에도 많은 노력을 기울인다.「세계시민교육」은 부산 지역의 전문가나 부산 거주 외국인 주민이 강사로 나서 부산시민들에게 다양한 문화와 언어에 대해 소개하고, 글로벌 이슈를 알려주는 강의이다. 특히 올해는 개별 신청 이외에도 30인 내외의 학교와 단체를 대상으로 강사를 파견하기 시작하였다. 부산국제교류재단 공식 홈페이지(www.bfic.kr) 를 통해 신청할 수 있으며 신청 분야에 맞는 전문강사를 파견하고 있다.

2018년도 한국어강좌 2기 모집

 The Busan Foundation for International Cooperation offers 5 levels of Korean language courses every year to help foreigners settle faster in Korea. Any foreign residents living in Busan with more than 3 months left on their visa can register for the course. The affordable class fee of KRW 10,000 and the fact that participants can meet other classmates from all over the world, make the classes popular. The 1st semester began on March 5 and ended on June. The 2nd semester will start recruiting students from August. People who are interested in the classes can find more information on the official website of the BFIC.

 부산국제교류재단에서는 매년 부산거주 외국인들의 생활 정착을 지원하기 위해「한국어강좌」를 총 5개의 레벨(가~마)로 분류하여 체계적으로 운영해오고 있다. 부산국제교류재단의 한국어강좌는 3개월 이상 국내 체류자격을 소지한 부산거주 외국인들을 대상으로 한다. 다양한 국적의 클래스 메이트들을 만날 수 있고, 참가비도 단 10,000원이라 인기가 높다.

 2018년도 한국어강좌 1기가 지난 3월 5일 개강하여 6월 15일까지 성황리에 진행되고 있으며, 2기는 8월 중에 모집할 예정이니, 부산국제교류재단 공식 홈페이지(www.bfic.kr)를 공식적으로 체크하면 된다.

Supporting Foreign Communities in Busan

부산 외국인 커뮤니티 문화행사 지원
 

 The BFIC supports foreign communities’ for cultural activities in order to enhance interactions between locals and foreign residents in Busan and to make the foreign communities more active. About KRW 300,000 will be given to the chosen foreign clubs or organizations. Given that there is a limited budget and that the support funds will be given on a first-come first-served basis, so please hurry to apply!

 부산국제교류재단은 부산소재 외국인 커뮤니티 활성화와 내·외국인 상호교류를 위해 외국인 커뮤니티를 대상으로 문화행사들을 지원한다. 대상 커뮤니티는 부산을 근거지로 두고, 친목도모, 정보교환, 상호교류 등 외국인으로 구성된 단체나 모임으로, 부산국제교류재단에서는 30만원 내외로 지원하고 있다. 선착순으로 지원이 진행되어 지원금이 마감될 수 있으니, 적극 신청해보자!
