Busan Foundation for International Cooperation and the Russian Consulate General in Busan held Online Film Festival commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s Space Flight’, in the Year of KOR-RUS Cultural Exchange. Two Russian biographical films about the achievements of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, and three documentaries produced by a Russian national broadcast and a popular Russian YouTube Channel, were released for the first time in Korea (Korean subtitled). It gave us a great opportunity to feel fortitude and challenging spirit of human beings that Yuri Gagarin showed, as well as the overwhelming joy of that day when the whole world fluttered 60 years ago.

부산국제교류재단과 주부산러시아총영사관은 한-러 상호 문화교류의 해를 맞이하여 ‘유리 가가린 우주비행 60주년 기념 온라인 영화다큐 주간’을 개최하였다. 인류 최초 우주비행사인 유리 가가린의 일대기와 업적을 다룬 러시아 영화 2편과 러시아 국영방송 및 러시아 유명 유튜브 채널에서 제작한 다큐멘터리 3편을 국내 최초 공개했다. (한글자막 상영) 온 세계가 들썩였던 60년전 그 날의 벅찬 감동과 환희 그리고 유리 가가린이 보여준 인간의 불굴의 의지와 도전정신을 느낄 수 있는 자리였다.
