제6회 한‧중‧일 아동 우호 그림전 – 일본 전시

 The final stage of the BFIC-hosted 6th Korea-China-Japan Children’s Friendship Painting Exhibition is to be held in Japan this fall. This event showcases the artworks of kindergarteners and elementary school students from Busan, Shanghai, and Fukuoka. This is the third stage of this itinerant exhibition which was on display in Busan Citizen's Hall in May and in Shanghai at the China Welfare Institute Children’s Art Theatre over the summer. In Japan, the exhibition will display about 300 artworks under the theme of ‘Our Future’ and will travel to four cities: Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Omuta and Tokyo.  한국(부산) – 중국(상하이) – 일본(후쿠오카) 3개 도시의 유치원생, 초등학생 어린이들을 대상으로 개최되는 한‧중‧일 아동 우호 그림전이 부산(5/15~30, 부산시민회관 갤러리)과 상하이(7/29~9/10, 중국복리회소년궁)에서 전시를 성공적으로 마치고 가을에는 일본으로 이동한다. 일본에서는 후쿠오카를 시작으로 기타큐슈, 오무타, 도쿄까지 4개 도시에서 ‘우리의 미래’를 주제로 300여 점의 그림을 전시할 예정이다. 자세한 장소와 일정은 온라인 전시 페이지 painting.bfic.kr 에서 확인할 수 있다.

The third year of the Capacity Building Program for Cairo Metro Management

이집트 지하철 운영역량 강화 국별연수 3년차 운영

 BFIC and the Busan Transportation Corporation Academy jointly organized a KOICA training program for experts in managerial positions of the Cairo Metro to improve management skills on safety management issues. The first program was launched back in 2016 as a three-year project under the supervision of KOICA.

 This year's 2 week capacity building program for cairo metro management starts on September 2 and it features lectures, workshops, field trips along with cultural activities. The trainees consist of fifteen experts from different departments of the Cairo Metro.

 부산국제교류재단이 한국국제협력단(KOICA)의 위탁 사업인 ‘이집트 지하철 운영역량 강화’ 국별연수 마지막 3년차를 운영한다. 이 사업은 부산교통공사와 손잡고 지난 2016년부터 부산의 지하철 운영 기술을 이집트에 전파하는 연수 사업으로, 2016년 선정되어 3년 동안 운영되어 오고 있다. 올해 역시 이집트 카이로메트로의 전문 인력들이 연수생으로 참여하여 부산교통공사의 BTC아카데미에서 9월 2일부터 15일까지 2주간 도시철도 운영, 관리 기술을 배운다.

BFIC’s Eurasia City Forum 2018

2018 유라시아 도시 포럼

 Again this year, the BFIC is organizing the Eurasia City Forum to be held in November. It is a meeting place for government officials, business people, scholars, students and participants from Busan and major cities in Eurasia to discuss practical cooperative plans among the cities of Eurasia. The forum will build on the ground work set up during the July Eurasia Expedition from Busan which expanded initiatives in Central Asia. BFIC will discuss with other participants, cooperative plans in diverse fields for Central Asia as well as the Russian Far East. BFIC will use the gathering to continue to promote Busan as the Eurasia gateway city to connect Korea, China and Russia. BFIC will consolidate its leading role in intercity cooperation. Further information and schedules will be posted through the BFIC website.

 작년에 이어 올해도 유라시아 도시 포럼이 오는 11월 개최된다. 유라시아 도시 포럼은 부산과 유라시아의 주요 도시들의 공무원, 기업인, 학자, 학생 등 다양한 계층이 참가하여 도시간 실질적인 협력 방안을 논의하는 포럼이다. 올해는 부산국제교류재단이 지난 7월 유라시아 청년대장정을 통해 중앙아시아로 새롭게 저변을 확대한 것에 힘입어 극동러시아뿐만 아니라, 중앙아시아까지 다방면의 협력방안을 논의할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 한국과 중국, 러시아 3국을 잇는 유라시아의 관문 도시로서 부산의 역할을 되돌아보고 부산이 주도적으로 도시간 협력에 참여할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 자세한 일정과 장소는 추후 재단 홈페이지를 통해 공지될 예정이다.

BFIC is Seeking Lecturers for its Global Citizenship Education Program!

세계시민교육 강사 모집

 BFIC is forming a talent pool of lecturers who can provide global citizenship education lectures. Lecturers are members of the local and international community with first-hand knowledge of a foreign culture and a desire to share it with others. They will give lectures under the theme of ‘Fostering a Global Mindset’, ‘Wolrd Peace and Human Rights’, and ‘Understanding the World Culture’, etc. There is a small payment to lecturers. Every lecture applicant who submits a resume will receive individual notice of lecturing possibilities.

 BFIC’s Global Citizenship Education Initiative is a program that supports Busan citizens to foster a global mindset. The program is open to all Busan residents.

 부산국제교류재단에서는 세계시민교육의 강사를 연중 상시 모집하고 있다. 이번 모집은 부산지역 전문가와 외국인 주민에게 열려있으며, 신청자에 한해 이력서 검토 후 인력풀 등록 여부를 개별 안내하고 있다. 강사풀로 등록되면 부산지역의 학교와 기관 단체를 대상으로 ‘글로벌 마인드 함양’, ‘세계평화 및 인권’, ‘세계문화이해’ 글로벌 이슈와 관련된 강의를 하게 된다. 강사에게는 소정의 강연료도 지급된다. 부산국제교류재단 공식 홈페이지 www.bfic.kr 에서 더욱 자세한 내용을 확인할 수 있다.
