2019 Eurasia Expedition ‘From Busan to Berlin’ 

2019 유라시아 시민대장정 ‘부산에서 베를린까지‘

 The 4th Eurasia Expedition is departing again this summer. 56 members are getting on the Eurasia Railroad for a 24 night and 25 day adventure from July 17 to August 10. The expedition goes through the longest journey ever under the theme of ‘From Busan to Berlin (Bright Way! One Way! United Way!)’, and the subtheme ‘Busan Opens New Century of Eurasia’. The members are visiting 10 cities in 5 countries; Republic of Korea (Busan) → Russia (Vladivostok, Ussuriysk) → China (Harbin, Beijing) → Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar) → Russia (Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Moscow) → Poland(Warsaw) → Germany (Berlin). This year participants include Busan youths and ordinary citizens to experts. Members are organizing diverse events to promote Busan and broaden the vision of northward cooperation in the main cities.

 올해로 4회째를 맞이하는 ‘유라시아 시민대장정’이 이번 여름에도 출발한다. 오는 7월 17일부터 8월 10일까지 24박 25일 동안 총 56명의 단원들이 유라시아 횡단열차에 오른다. 역대 최장거리인 이번 대장정은 ‘한반도 평화시대, 부산에서 베를린까지(희망의 길, 하나의 길, 통일의 길)’를 주제로 ‘부산이 열어가는 유라시아 대륙의 새로운 100년’을 부제로 각각 선정했다. 단원들은 한국(부산) → 러시아(블라디보스토크, 우수리스크) → 중국(하얼빈, 베이징) → 몽골(울란바토르) → 러시아(이르쿠츠크, 예카테린부르크, 모스크바) → 폴란드(바르샤바) → 독일(베를린) 순으로 총 5개국 10개 도시를 방문하게 된다. 특히 올해는 청년으로만 구성했던 예년과 달리, 단원들의 폭을 시민과 전문가로 넓혀 고루 선발하였다. 단원들은 독립역사•교통물류•통일 준비•4차산업이라는 4가지의 테마로 주요 도시에서 부산을 홍보하고 북방협력 비전 공감대를 확산하기 위한 다양한 행사를 개최할 예정이다.

2019 The 11th Busan Global Friends : Yangon, Myanmar & Ulaanbaatar, Mongol

제11기 부산해외봉사단 : 미얀마 양곤 & 몽골 울란바토르 

 Busan Global Friends that has received good responses from university students in Busan is preparing to get under sail this year as well. Busan Global Friends, one of the representative overseas volunteer groups organized by Busan Metropolitan City and BFIC, has dispatched 832 members in 5 sister cities of Busan. The 11th Busan Global Friends will send 49 members to Yangon, Myanmar in July and 78 to Ulaanbaatar, Mongol in August. The volunteering activities include teaching science, art, music, sports, and health care to children and elementary school students in the cities, physical projects like wall painting, and medical service for the residents. 

 매년 부산 지역 대학생들 사이에서 좋은 반응을 꾸준히 이어오고 있는 부산해외봉사단(Busan Global Friends)이 올 여름에도 출발한다. 부산해외봉사단은 2009년부터 부산시와 부산국제교류재단이 자매도시에 파견해온 부산의 대표적인 해외봉사단으로, 지금까지 총 5개 도시에 832명의 단원들을 파견해왔다. 제11기 부산해외봉사단은 7월 미얀마 양곤으로 49명, 8월 몽골 울란바토르로 78명이 파견될 예정이다. 단원들은 양곤과 울란바토르의 어린이들과 초등학생들을 대상으로 과학, 미술, 음악, 체육, 보건 등의 교육봉사와 벽화작업 등의 노력봉사, 주민들을 대상으로 의료봉사를 진행하게 된다.

 2019 Summer Korean class starts again! 

무료 한국어 여름특별강좌 개강

 BFIC has been running Korean classes to help foreign residents settle in Busan more successfully. Students with long-term stay visas can attend, learn Korean and meet classmates from all over the world! Summer Korean classes run during the summer and end on August 2. Classes focus more on students and workers providing them with short, intensive classes for beginners, TOPIK class, and Business Korean. Meanwhile, level test for the Busan Global Center fall Korean classes run from August 19 to 21. Don't miss it! 

 부산국제교류재단에서는 부산 거주 외국인들의 정착을 돕고자「무료 한국어강좌」를 운영해오고 있다. 장기체류 비자 소지자들을 대상으로 하는 부산국제교류재단의 한국어강좌는 한국어도 배우고, 다양한 도시에서 온 클래스 메이트들을 만나는 건 덤이다! 여름방학 시즌에는 여름특별 강좌를 개강한다. 8월 2일에 종강하는 이번 여름특별강좌는 수준별 한국어 강의로 이루어진 평소 수업과 달리, 초급 단기속성반, TOPIK 준비반, 비즈니스 한국어반으로 나뉘어 방학을 맞은 학생들과 직장인들을 위한 강의에 좀 더 집중한다. 한편, 하반기에 진행되는 한국어강좌 2기의 레벨테스트는 8월 19일부터 21일까지 3일간 진행되니 놓치지 말자!

Supporting cultural activities of foreign communities in Busan

2019 외국인 커뮤니티 문화행사 지원 



 BFIC supports cultural activities of foreign communities in Busan to support them and enhance mutual interchange between Koreans and foreigners. Any resident foreign community organization that promotes friendship, information, and mutual interchange can apply for the program that provides financial and administrative assistance twice a year.

 부산국제교류재단은 부산의 외국인 커뮤니티 활성화와 내∙외국인 상호교류를 위해 외국인 커뮤니티들의 문화행사를 지원한다. 부산을 근거지로 두고, 친목도모, 정보교환, 상호교류 등 외국인으로 구성된 커뮤니티는 누구나 신청 가능하며, 부산국제교류재단에서는 신청 커뮤니티들을 재정적, 행정적으로 연2회 지원한다.
